ANALISIS ETIKA PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL FACEBOOK (NETIQUETTE) (STUDI IBU-IBU PKK DESA LEBUNG KECAMATAN RANTAU BAYUR)

ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the ethics of using Facebook as a social media platform (netiquette) by PKK mothers in Lebung Village, Rantau Bayur Subdistrict. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The focus of the study is on the application of netiquette principles in social media activities such as commenting, sharing information, as well as maintaining privacy and politeness in Facebook communication. The results show that most PKK mothers have implemented elements of netiquette in their use of Facebook, such as thinking before sharing content, using polite language, and respecting others’ digital space. However, unethical behavior still occurs due to a lack of digital literacy, such as sharing unverified information and posting comments that may lead to conflict. This research highlights the importance of education on social media ethics to create a healthy digital environment, especially within the PKK community.
