Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of the Canva application in student learning activities, particularly in designing presentation materials. The advancement of digital technology opens new opportunities in education, including the use of application-based learning media such as Canva. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation from five student informants across various study programs at Universitas Sumatera Selatan. The results indicate that Canva significantly aids students in designing presentation materials in a practical, creative, and engaging way. The application facilitates information visualization, enhances material comprehension, and improves students' technical and critical thinking skills. However, limitations such as restricted features in the free version and the need for a stable internet connection are also noted. In conclusion, Canva is an effective learning media that supports student learning activities, particularly in the context of presentation design in the digital era.
