PENDEKATAN KOMUNIKASI ANTARPRIBADI RELAWAN KAMPUNG LITERASI BAGI ANAK JALANAN DI KOTA PALEMBANG

The rise of street children which increases every year in Palembang City becomes a social
problem because it requires proper handling, Palembang city social services do not yet have a
place or place for rehabilitation, therefore the Literacy Village is here as a place to reduce the
number of street children in Palembang City, because Therefore, this study aims to look at the
interpersonal communication approach carried out by volunteers with children in the
village.Volunteers always support children's development. Apart from that, they have a positive
attitude towards street children with a sense of empathy for children.Volunteers are also shown to
teach education free of charge, and equality in learning is also carried out by Literacy Village
volunteers to make children enthusiastic, so that children will be open to volunteers to tell stories
and get motivated in their lives.
