Abstract

PT Nextmedia Teknologi Indonesia masih menghadapi keterlambatan deteksi gangguan karena proses monitoring jaringan dilakukan secara manual dan belum terpusat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan monitoring jaringan MikroTik berbasis PRTG Network Monitor yang terintegrasi dengan WhatsApp Gateway API untuk mengirimkan notifikasi gangguan secara real-time. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sistem diimplementasikan pada jaringan testing menggunakan server Ubuntu sebagai server monitoring PRTG, perangkat MikroTik sebagai objek monitoring, serta WhatsApp Gateway API sebagai media pengiriman notifikasi. Pengujian fungsional dilakukan melalui lima skenario, pengujian deteksi gangguan melalui empat kondisi gangguan, dan pengujian waktu respons dengan mengukur selang waktu sejak gangguan terjadi sampai notifikasi diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fungsi utama sistem berjalan dengan baik. PRTG mampu mendeteksi interface down, link putus, packet loss tinggi, dan latency tinggi, dan seluruh gangguan tersebut diikuti dengan pengiriman notifikasi WhatsApp. Sistem juga menunjukkan waktu respons sekitar 8–15 detik pada lingkungan uji. Dengan demikian, implementasi ini meningkatkan efektivitas monitoring, mempercepat respons teknisi, dan menyediakan mekanisme monitoring yang lebih terpusat serta realtime di PT Nextmedia Teknologi Indonesia.

PT Nextmedia Teknologi Indonesia experienced delayed fault detection because network monitoring was still performed manually and was not centrally integrated. This study aimed to implement MikroTik network monitoring using PRTG Network Monitor integrated with a WhatsApp Gateway API to deliver real-time fault notifications. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The system was implemented on a testing network using an Ubuntu server as the PRTG monitoring server, MikroTik devices as monitored objects, and WhatsApp Gateway API as the notification channel. Functional testing used five scenarios, fault detection testing used four disturbance conditions, and response time testing measured the interval from fault occurrence to notification delivery. The results show that all core functions worked properly. PRTG successfully detected interface down, broken links, high packet loss, and high latency, and all detected faults triggered WhatsApp notifications. The system also produced a response time of approximately 8–15 seconds in the test environment. Therefore, the implementation improved monitoring effectiveness, accelerated technical response, and provided a more centralized and real-time monitoring mechanism for PT Nextmedia Teknologi Indonesia.
